Roth IRA

I need to start a roth IRA since I do NOT have a 401 (k) slowly building like most people. Although I have been with my company for 3 year it is not one of the things they offer. And with a roth IRA I pay taxes on it now so when I take it out I don't have to pay any!! Now comes the money issue again....
